If you know me at all, then you know that I am a complete and total Daddy’s Girl. Well, this is my Dad!
In my house we were raised on Red Wings hockey, cheering for the University of Michigan (much to my husband’s dismay as he is a MSU grad) and good music that was forever playing throughout the house.
My Dad is my hero in more ways than one. I can always go to him for advice on anything and he has been such a help as I start my business. Of course I wanted to showcase his love of hockey and the beach. Loves he and I both share! So without further ado, here he is! (Oh, and Go Red Wings!)

Thanks Dad!

Wow! I am honored.
Dad
Hi, Jen!
Just had to tell you . . . these are great photos of my good friend and old college buddy – your Dad! Beautiful job! You are quite a wonderful photographer!
Go Blue!!
Joe
Thank you Joe! And yes, GO BLUE!!!
These are so awesome! I love the black and white one of him walking away. Gorgeous.
Thanks Amalie! That’s one of my favorites too!
Jen,
Beautiful work! O.K., so now I am thinking that Tim looks more like Dad (Stephen J.) than me. Quite a resemblance to our Dad (Poppo) in your photos.
Love from Chicago!
Steve
I think you both look a lot like Poppo and that Gregg takes after Bamma.
I had the same thought, Steve, particularly the shot of me looking up over my glasses .
I was AFTER that photo! You ALWAYS do that. That’s why I asked you to put your glasses on, because when you look over them like that, I see Poppo.
Well, you certainly caught it, Jenni. I really do look like Poppo.
Dad
nice shots, jen! thanks for sharing. the turquiose of southern california is warming a windy, rainy, stormy, early-spring day in michigan.
of my older brother, his father would have said, “tim, nice pictures. but you should not walk with your hands in your pockets. walk like this.” and then poppo woulda shown ‘im.
and his mother would have said, “tim, you look nice in that jacket, and it really makes your eyes really blue.”
and goggs says, “WHERE IN GOD’S NAME DID YOU GET AN OLD NORTHLAND?”
p.s. gonna try to show that one to ol’ ozzie, next time i seez ‘im.
Haha! You’ll have to let me know what he says!
Well, I’m an old goalie. My pads are leather with no color. My gloves look more like Sawchuk’s than Ozzie’s. Tim has a larger kids catching glove than mine. My helmet looks a lot like Ozzies because I had a concussion when I wore one that looked like Sawchick’s.
Dad
These make my heart smile Jen! They are fabulous, you really captured your dad’s personality in so many ways! Keep up the fabulous work– you are on to great things my dear friend!
