My two favorite things in the world are taking photos and this guy. So you could call this session a win-win.

Killer light, a gorgeous location, and two of my favorite people ever. I really don’t think there’s much more I can say about this session. It was a long time in the making (it took a year to get Mark in front of my lens) but I think it was well worth the wait. I’m so happy to have these two in my life.

I was lucky enough to attend Lady Grey’s Secrets of a Stylist workshop in Newport, CA at the end of February. It was such a blast! I’m so excited to finally be able to share the images with you.  The inspiration session is featured on both Green Wedding Shoes and Grey Likes Weddings today.

This. Girl. Is. Amazing.  No joke.

Ashley (that’s right, the same rockstar over at Ashley Kelemen Photography) and I met at a networking event in August and instantly fell in love. She’s helped me breathe new life into my business and has been my partner in crime for these last few months. Oh yea…and she’s introduced me to film. Film is sooooo different and sooo amazing! I’m drooling. I’ve been learning all that I can about it and have fallen head-over-heels in love, as you can tell by her pretty face in Kodak Portra 400 below. Right now I’m just shooting personal work, but I hope to introduce it into my business soon.

Stephanie and I were co-workers a lifetime ago. I was going through a really difficult time in my life and working at a job that wasn’t right for me, and Stephanie was there every day smiling, keeping me company, and oh yea – teaching me how to do my job! She is one of the kindest and most genuine people in my life and I miss seeing her every day. Bobby and Steph are already amazing parents. Their first child, Andrew Brian, was born on February 7th and weighed 6lbs 11 oz.  He is the sweetest little guy ever! Congrats you two! I am so honored to have captured these moments for you.

Yesterday I went with Jess and the girls to the Seattle Gymnastics Academy. It was AMAZING! The girls were so cute in their little purple leotards and they were such good listeners as the teacher moved them from activity to activity. I was super jealous of all the fun things they got to do. Especially the foam pit. I wanted to jump in SO bad! There are more pictures of Isabel because Charlotte was running around so much it was hard to catch her in action. Seriously. Too. Cute.
